yes yes..
for some of you out there, u must be suprised that i am still bunking at my parents’ place.
i dun find it embarassing at all, cos hubster & i do help out in the groceries expenses and the bills etc. so we are not living there for free u know.

Another plus point of living with parents, which some pple dun see, is that we (the newly weds THAT TIME lah) akan ditegur about things that are not right.. takle ikut sesuka hati, mentang2 dah kawin kan…

another plus plus point is, my parents help to take care of the little one.
nobody better to take care of your child but your own family, esp parents. u are ensured that whatever was taught to you will be passed down to your children.

of cos there are minus points as well, but there’s always 2 sides to a coin kan?

ok moving to the main topic..
hubster n i are on the search for the perfect abode for us…
a place we can call our own and design and decide what’s nice etc on our own…
H-d-B always have the bimonthly sale launches that i always look forward to.
and recently, the ones for units in Sengkang caught my eyes.

We went to recce the whole of SK the other day and i set my eyes on this particular area.
its very near the mall, near a primary school, has superarket withing the vicinity w/ having to go to the mall and a park..
very nice.. tho the units there are only executive units.. garuk kepala kejap seh..

and so we decided to bring both sets of parents to go and view the area..
then MIL had to tell me stret in the face ‘jgn amik rumah sana eh’
aik??
lum pergi dah taknak? hmm..

i then found out that my aunt (MIL’s sister) is living in the same area and told her about that area being ‘keras’
aunt’s hubby came back late one night and was parking the car at the multistorey carpark and saw that ‘kakak’ bertenggek nearby him.. aisehman… kecut perut aku dgr…
dats the same carpark that hubster park his car as well!
I AM FREAKING SURE that hubster knows abt that beforehand or maybe he saw the ‘kakakS’ before.
cuma hubster aku ni iman kuat, and more to tak kuasa nak layan benda2 mcm ni.. hehe

i always have this prinsip.. kalau org tua dah suara sekali, baik jgn..
biarlah take a longer time to get a house rather than getting a house that brings us trouble.
i have a kid to think about as well pe..

and so when i tot the search is finally over, it just went back to square one.
next week ada another launch for matured estates.. so i will have to wait for that lah..

actually nasib baik jgk lah MIL ckp siang2..
kalau tak nanti, aleh2 baju dlm aku sidai pat umah baru ilang jer, sbb ‘kakak’ pat sana nak play dress up. =p

skarang ni aku tgh irritated to the max sbb org sbelah aku ni minum kopi BISING!!!
kalau dah tau kopi tu panas, nanti lah dulu baru minum… tak salah kan?? kopi tak lari pe!!!!

happy anniversary to me!

i celebrate my first year in this company today..
from where i was to where i am today, i am indeed thankful to Allah for all that He has bestowed upon me in my career path.
alhamdulillah, despite the heartaches and of cos the irritating pple/things happening here, i am indeed happy here.

and yes, despite us moving back to where my old company was (in fact, further actually), i still love my job..

for the flexibility (mana ada company kasi pakai bermudas/jeans and selipar pi keje), for the great frens/koligs/managers (despite the occasional irritants as i have mentioned) etc.

so CONGRATS to me for the amazing one year here and all the best wishes for the many years to come, insya Allah.

and till then, i shall remain the one and only… the greatest Nemesis (to whoever deserves it)

the big chong had an accident at work.. that’s my dad fyi.
he had a fall on Monday and landed on his left.. quite a big impact and in the end, had to be sent to the hospital.
he fractured his 7th left rib and his left wrist.

yg buat aku marah tu, he was in hospital (shall not say the name here) from evening and had to wait for sometime for an xray.
dah gitu takpe, dahlah tunggu lama, after xray he had to wait at the observation area for admission to a ward.
pukul 2lebih pagi baru dpt bed. the hospital side said takda katil to admit my dad in.. ARGH~!
sakit telinga aku dengar..

then when we arrive at the hospital yesterday morning, his left hand was bandaged up and supported with a sling.
he couldnt move much cos of the massive pain in his rib.

the MO(Medical Officer) came and informed my dad that he’s gonna do another xray for my dad before can be released home.
mcm siak.. duduk pat katil tak sampai satu hari, then lepas tu dah leh balik. NABEH! dats $$$ u know!
takpe.. memandangkan Big Chong aku ok, then aku pun ok ajer lah.
but i kno i would not spare the MO so easily.
I asked him SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many questions that he was stunned.
how’s the xray results? y do u need another xrauy if the results are good? how long does my dad have to wait for the next xray? y do we have to wait so long when you said you have fixed an appointment? why isnt my dad served with breakfast when it is already past 11am? how long does he need to recover if you are not doing anything to the rib fracture?

i tell u, if you are the MO at that moment, you will be regretting your life standing there in front of me..

then another farked up thing, big chong was eating (finally) then a staff nurse came and took his BP and temperature.
BODOH KAN!!! org tu kan tgh mkn! another nabeh for that!
mak aku suruh diam.. so aku diam jer lah. buat layan iffah jer.. buat tak nampak..

when all’s done and settled, we went home..
thinking about how my iffah love to pester her grand-dad, hubster and i decided to bring her out, just so that my mum and dad can rest at home.
when we came back, there were so many pple who came visiting..
my aunts and uncles and my in-laws came as well..
lucky for my mum, my aunts were helping her out at the kitchen, so wen i came back, i took over from them..

then today, im back at work.. and mom said there’s gonna b visitors again.. well, cant help it if Big Chong’s got alot of friends and we have alot of extended family members.

some pple advised me to get a temporary maid so that the maid can help my mom out with the housework etc..
sure that’s a good idea.. i totally agree that is definitely a load off from my mom..

BUT did these pple tink if I aka MOI aka SAYA aka ME have the cash to spare?? NO!
maybe they are thinking we are so well to do that we have the cash to spare all the time is it????

MAYBE they need to be reminded that if they were to pay back the HUTANG that they owe to my family, THEN i CAN AFFORD not only ONE, not TWO or maybe FOUR FREAKING maids for my family to relax goyang kaki.

i turned a year older yesterday and my baby turned a month older…
how time files.. *sigh*
well as u get older, you tend to become more n more relaxed on your birthday..
no more ‘hey its my birthday seh!’ kinda feeling..
now its more like ‘alamak.. dah birthday ah’.. hehe.. reality sinking in fast..

last year’s bday was spent at melaka with my famili, my parents, and my in-laws and my SIL’s famili as well..
this year i was at work.. tak kuasa nak amik leave as i always do..
one of the reason, is to save my leave for other important stuffs.
so far aku dah amik byk leave seh.. tapi for the record, mc dua hari je.. hehe.. ok i’ve digressed.

now back to the birthday part…
i was at work as per normal.. clearing loads of stuffs that was multiplied over the weekends..
then B n pwincess came and fetch me from office.
normally they waited for me in the car.. but yesterday was special..haha.. they waited for me at the lift lobby.
then when my pwincess saw me.. she came running to me and shouted ‘Mama!’ and gave me my present.. awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww~~
cair mama… hehe

we then went for dinner and headed back home..
it was a short trip cos i wasnt feeling that well anyway..
so once back at home, without even changing out of my satu-hari-nyer-pakaian, i unwrapped my prezzy.

ni dia prezzy from the beloved hubster.. tak sabar nak bukak…

then.. TADAAA!!!! i have always wanted this bag! and the best best part of it, it is RED!!!!!

then as i was belek-ing the bag.. i opened it up and got another suprise! TADAAAAA!!! my long awaited sandals!

sungguh the terharu.. when i was jumping up n down in happiness, the hubster just kept smiling..
he must be thinking ‘dah tebiat bini aku ni’.. hehehe.. on another tot, he must be damn pleased with himself for getting the presents for the wifey. tak sia sia aku kasi hints, eh ba! =p

i came to ofis this morning and got another present… this time from a close kolig.. and these are wat she gave me… TADAAA!!!

an accessories set together with a d/i/l/d/o/ looking pen.. hahahahahahaha!!!! ok that’s gross…

anyways thanks to all who have wished me yesterday.. thank you thank you thank you!

right at the end of it, i am just thankful to God for letting me live another good year… alhamdulillah..

and here’s the other Puteri who turned older yesterday.. but only a month older..

after weeks of thinking what to get for MY birthday present, i have finally decided on the Nintendo DS Lite.

after reading many many reviews and comparisions btw the PSP and the NDSL, i chose the latter for the gerek games, the cute size and of cos the price.

it was well spent money, i tell u.. and so far, this has been the best present i gave myself so far.. hehe..
maklumlah ada rezeki..

and the best part, i managed to get B hooked on it as well..
after seeing him paying the transformers game and now the Pool game, i may just convince him to get another one and we can play against each other!!! *evil grin*

her solemnization ceremony was a very emotional one for me and beshie..
cos we have been with the bride for so many years and we know the ups and downs in her life..
the moment the solemnization was complete (lafaz skali jer babe! sayang bini betol eh hasrul! hehe), my tears was already flowing. tahan nyer tahan tetap mengalir jugak.

alhamdulillah everything was going very smooth..
and my princess oso taknak lepas chance to ‘meriahkan’ suasana by making alot of noise in the bilik pengantin.. geram aku!

anyways, all that aside. she is now enjoying her marital bliss and back to work! hehe..

after months looking and salivating on how yummy and delicious the cupcakes are on the website, i have decided to make on my own.

of cos the cupcakes i made are not as good looking as those on the webbies, but hey! at least i tried.

the main scope of my current job is to reply to all customer’s technical queries/problems, be it from US or from Europe or Asia.
altho it is via emails only, it can be quite taxing as the turnaround time is 24hrs and their GMT time is totally different from ours here in s’pore.

previously i was handling most of the replyings… be it from US or from Asia or from Europe, where Europe customers give the most problems. Problems ranging from sending emails in their native language to having emails with abusive verbs and vocabs all over.
pakkal lah aku tak boleh reply balik as wat goes thru in my head, instead i have to reply in the most courteous manner.
*sigh* the perks of a support staff…

anyways.. with new things implemented and to be implemented, my senior E manage to pull my crazy/senile/tua-nak-mampos-tapi-eksyen-muda new kolig into the team.
si dekni lah aku slalu bitch about tu.. we shall name him V.

now with V in the team, things are supposed to be slightly better kan?
well apparently not so lah.. even tho i cant say that he’s totally hopeless…

dulu aku handle most of the queries kan?
so when he first came in, we gave him the US section cos they are much easier to handle.
tak susah sgt, and they always speak in english… DUH!

aku lak kena handle European customers and hari2, mesti ada customers yg email in their native language…
ada satu tu sapai maki kita sbb kita tak faham apa dia ckp.. NOT MY FAULT WAT~ he emailed in German..
then bila aku suruh translate, dia pakai online translator yg langsung takle di harap..

ni semua tak kisah sbb si V kan baru masuk team.. so its ok..
lagipun sesaper yg handle US list, kena hanndle technical problems in the office as well.

then last month, E suruh kita switch lak..
dia handle European customers and i handle US customers.
suka lah aku.. lesser queries to entertain and i get to polish up on my technical skills in the office.

days back, i wrote in about a dear colleague who passed away due to a heart attack.
it was sad… he left behind a widow and his 3 kids, of whom the 3rd child is not even a year old.

earlier this evening, i received another devastating news..
another dear friend of mine has gone to meet the Creator earlier in the day.
he was in his first year of postgraduate diploma for physical education in NIE and was going thru a compulsory camp in Gunung Ledang when a tree fell on his tent. He died of injuries.

he was dearly known as Zam and we met during our 3-months course(after O levels) in the defunct Jurong Institute.
he was a smart guy, loving and very funny.
never failed to make pple laugh…

tho he is not married, from the last i heard, he was still happily attached to his school sweetheart whom he met in Jurong Institute as well. in all, that would be about 10 years of relationship.

i cant imagine the trauma that she will have to go thru when she learnt about his death.
sadder part will be how his parents are taking it..

i dunno what else to say..
that’s 2 deaths in less than 2 months..
and both did make an impact in my life…

you will be missed, bro…
